Initial Fermentation
Section titled “Initial Fermentation”First, fill the boiler with water, either by using a bucket to fill all at once or by using a water pipe in Create or similar kinds of mods. Next, add your main ingredients. Ingredients can be found in game via REI or via the recipes page. Then the boiler must be heated. This can be done by placing a heating block underneath the boiler. This can be any type of fire or campfire, or can be a blaze burner with create.
Then, once fermented for long enough, you may use a glass bottle to remove ¼ bucket of the concoction from the boiler (250 mB).
With create, the engineer’s goggles will show information about what is currently boiling when looking at a boiler.
Using the config you can scale the amount of initial fermenting time needed for all recipes.
