Fermenting barrels are special types of barrels that can be used to age alcoholic drinks

Section titled “Breaking”A fermenting barrel can be mined with or without any tool, but an axe is the quickest. When broken, it drops all of its contents.

Crafting
Section titled “Crafting”A fermenting barrel can be crafted using stripped logs and wooden slabs of matching wood types. Oak is shown below.

Barrel Aging
Section titled “Barrel Aging”To use a fermenting barrel, simply place one and put the item you wish to age (either a concoction or a bottle of alcohol) in the barrel. By default, 1 year is 3 Minecraft days. This can be changed via the config.
