An Espresso Machine is used for pulling shots of Espresso and steaming milk into Lattes.

Espresso Machines require water to function, and each machine can store up to 1000mB of water at once. Pulling shots of espresso requires 50mB of water, and Steaming milk requires 25mB of water. Water can be added in 2 different ways, either by placing water-containing items (Water Bucket, Water Bottle) in the first slot of the Espresso Machine menu, or by using Pipes from mods such as Create or Ad-Astra to supply the machine with a constant source of water.

Pulling shots of espresso requires 2 grounds. You can use either Light Roast Grounds, Espresso Grounds, or Decaf Grounds, each will result in a different kind of espresso shot. Any time espresso shots are pulled, Used Coffee Grounds will be dispensed in the empty slot. If this slot is full, espresso cannot be pulled. These used coffee grounds can be placed in a Composter. Espresso will only be pulled if either of the result slots contains a glass bottle. This means that you can pull one shot at a time, however the same amount of grounds and water are used either way. Pulling espresso shots will consume 50mB of water

To Steam Milk, place a milk bottle in to the rightmost slot in the menu. As long as there’s enough water in the Machine, the milk will start to steam. You can see the progress in the bar that will start filling up. Once the bar turns green, the Milk bottle will change into the Latte item and can be removed and crafted into a Latte. Be careful though, because if the bar gets too full, it will turn red and the latte will be burnt, which upon drinking will deal 2 fire damage (1 heart). Steaming milk consumes 25mB of water.

Espresso and other Additions can be added to steamed milk to create Lattes.
